JONRA is a double blind peer reviewed electronic and print quarterly publication concerned with all aspects of nuclear engineering. JONRA publishes original research papers, technical papers. The Journal database is fully open access and full text of published articles are available for everyone who can get access to the Journal website. 

Articles submitted to JONRA are usually sent out to peer reviewers, although submissions that are out of scope for the journal or are of an unacceptably low standard may be rejected without review. Potentially suitable manuscripts will generally be reviewed by at least two experts in the field with the aim of reaching a first decision as a fast-tracked peer review.

The full text of all published articles in JONRA is immediately available in the website of JONRA and they are currently disseminated and fully indexed with search engines such as Google Scholar, which enhance the visibility of all articles to public who are seeking on their interest. Further, the articles of JONRA are disseminated and indexed with various scientific databases, The JONRA Journal has been indexed in the well-known world databases mainly; SID, DOI, This journal is following of Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and complies with the highest ethical standards in accordance with ethical laws.

Open access publications are available freely available and permanently in the website of JONRA, in which one can download the articles at any time and by anyone with an internet connection. In order to increase the visibility of authors work, open access has provided tremendous support to both authors and science institutions. Authors can retain copyright and do rapid publication.

Jonra is an open-access journal without article processing or submission charges. The access to the published articles is free of charges.

Page proofs will reach to authors approximately after finishing the Publication process. Authors’ paper will then be released into the system and the paper will be typeset. Authors will receive PDF proofs of their paper shortly thereafter in the "Article in Press". 

Only the corresponding author receives an e-mail notification to complete the online procedure and receiving communication. At any cause, co-author(s) will not do the online completion procedure and will not receive any notification about their submitted manuscript. But, the corresponding author is transferring the copyright on behalf of the others and then they are eligible for doing all activities as that of corresponding author.

At the proof stage, one can do any changes that would like to have made. The typesetter carries out corrections before an article is published online. Please note that changes are no longer possible after publication.

No. However, it is a duty of reviewer to explain his / her situations, why review was not completed to editorial office through mail.

Authors are required to adhere to the journal’s Guide for Authors (Paper template). If the paper is good, the editor may choose to overlook the formatting issues, else, editor may ask the authors to restructure the manuscript before publication.
